Roots of Peace - Afghanistan

Roots of Peace (ROP) is a humanitarian, not-for-profit organization that has been working in Afghanistan since the spring of 2003.  ROP funds mine clearance and then works to re-establish perennial crops, fruit and nut processing and market linkages.  This website is intended to support the Afghan traders and farmers working to export their produce outside of Afghanistan and create new markets for their crops.  ROP will facilitate market linkages between buyers and Afghan traders to initiate and sustain the export of fresh and dried fruit, and nuts.  For more information about our programs pease contact any of the ROP contacts listed below or visit the ROP website at www.rootsofpeace.org.  For suggestions on how to improve this website, please e-mail gary@rootsofpeace.org.
